25 Empowering Journal Prompts For Personal Development

delaney| Personal Development

It is well known by now, and well researched that our thoughts create our reality. If you can control your thoughts, you can create a new and different life, personality, and reality around you. I used to be skeptical of these kind of things, until I tried it! I’m amazed at how much more happy and confident I am now that I am aware of my own thoughts.

Let’s say you really want to be doctor when you’re a kid. Some of the thoughts you start thinking are “I am going to be a doctor”, “I’m happy to work hard to get into med school”, “Here are 20 plus reasons why I want this” and so on. This may seem so natural, but because you start thinking these thoughts, your brain believes you will become a doctor! So you do! The same is true for anything you want to achieve.

I love your #22! So many times we only focus on what we need to change going forward, and we don’t give ourself enough kudos for how far we have come.

Thank you! Yes, I think it’s SO important to look how far you’ve come an give yourself a pat on the back for that. It’s hard work to evolve!

I love #18 & #20! It can be tough to be nice to yourself and acknowledge your strengths sometimes. Conscientiously thinking of it and putting paper to pen is so important for growth and reflection.
